Skirrit

Skirrits may stand as tall as men, but don’t be mistaken: they are not human. No, they are monsters, hideous, awful monsters in the shape of walking, talking grasshoppers. Skirrits have clawlike feet, yellow-brown skin, two sets of arms, and bulging eyes that spring from the top of their triangular heads. They speak in dry, rasping voices, and from their waists hang belts filled with weapons—weapons with which they fight quickly, accurately, and deadly. Because if Skirrits are anything, they’re deadly. They are minions of the evil Ereskigal, after all, and they’ll do anything she asks... anything at all.
